~~~~~Challenge #2: 91 Days of Tiny Verse~~~~~
Hello "dear ones",
It's really so good to be back. I missed writing poetry, its absence in my days palpable. So excited to embark on this new soujourn of minstrelsy with you π
Today is the day.
The practice of writing an essay has made me feel SO vulnerable and raw, I needed to RUN back into the safe and cozy arms of poetic expression before I called the whole thing off!!! π (UPDATE: bored of essays and s-stack. essay mission on hiatus. Poetry forever...)
The "rules":
- 91 poems in 91 days, starting today, December 9th, 2025 β March 9th, 2025
- Poetic form must be 4 lines or less. (EDIT: or not)
- No generated prompts anymore! I am going purely by intuition, or, letting myself be gracefully informed by environment.
- I will keep the "Listening to" component, that's always fun. I find the best music when I am prepping to write πΆπ΅
I will be practicing some or none of following forms, in no particular order:
- Epigram / Aphorism
- Monostich / One-liner
- Quatrain
- Triplet
- Couplet
- Mondo
- Haiku
- Lune
- Clou
- Micropoem (tiny narrative)
- Fragment poem
Potentially more as I discover them β I am so excited AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!π
First poem to be posted later this afternoon.
I am grateful to be sharing this poetic path with you. Who will we be in 91 days?! ππ
